Farmersville is a town located in Cattaraugus County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,028.

The Town of Farmersville was incorporated in 1821. It is on the eastern county border.

Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 124.1 km² (47.9 mi²). 123.7 km² (47.8 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.31% water.

The eastern town line is the border of Allegany County, New York.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 1,028 people, 389 households, and 282 families residing in the town. The population density is 8.3/km² (21.5/mi²). There are 656 housing units at an average density of 5.3/km² (13.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 99.32% White, 0.19% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.29% Pacific Islander, 0.10% from other races, and 0.10% from two or more races. 0.68% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 389 households out of which 34.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.7% are married couples living together, 7.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.5% are non-families. 19.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.64 and the average family size is 3.08.
