Mexico is a city located in Audrain County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 11,320. It is the county seat of Audrain County.

Mexico is located at 39°9′57″ North, 91°53′5″ West (39.165814, -91.884761)1. N.E. of the centre of the state, and about 50 m. N.W. of St Louis
