Copper Mountain : Colorado

Filed under:

Copper Mountain has earned a reputation as “the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States” and perhaps more importantly, an awesome place to hit the hill with your friends and family. This distinction is credited in part to an award-winning trail system that enhances the mountain’s unique geographic features. Naturally divided terrain actually separates snowriders by their ability levels. But Copper truly comes alive even after the lifts have closed for the day.

Now, just two and a half years after the first shovel-full of dirt was taken, The Village at Copper is alive and rocking. Located at 9,700 feet, each section of this new pedestrian-only, high alpine village has been designed to accentuate natural view corridors while capturing the Colorado sun. The Village at Copper continues to thrive, with new dining, après and activity options providing even more variety and excitement for guests.

Whether strolling through The Village to shop or watch chocolate being made in the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, visitors of all ages will soon appreciate Copper’s unique character. Listen to storytellers who set up camp weekly by the snag tree in The Village, watch a laser light show in the skies above, or try the Tubing Zone, a true favorite for snow play enthusiasts of all ages.
