Branch is an unincorporated community located on the boundary between Mason County and Lake County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community shares its name with Branch Township in Mason County, but also lies partially within Sweetwater Township in Lake County. It is situated on U.S. Highway 10 at 43° 56? 45? N 86° 02? 21? W, just north of the Pere Marquette River within the Manistee National Forest. The ZIP code is 49402. The community was founded in the early 1870s, first as a lumbermen's community, later becoming a station on the Pere Marquette Railroad.

Linwood : Michigan

Linwood is a small unincorporated community located in the northern portion of Bay County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community is on the boundary between Fraser Township on the north and Kawkawlin Township on the south. Michigan State Highway 13 passes to the west and the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron is on the east. Bay City is about 12 miles to the south. The Nayanquing Point State Wildlife Area is a couple miles to the north while the Tobico Marsh is a few miles to the south. Both are popular places for bird observation and the Wildlife Area
