Brunswick is a city located in Frederick County, Maryland. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 4,894.

Established along the now-defunct Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, the town grew as a railroad center. It now is home to a commuter rail station serving Washington, D.C..

Perhaps the most famous resident of the city was the American singer Patsy Cline, followed by cartographer Karl Musser.
