Swimming, fishing band fishing are all popular activities on this stretch of the Gulf of Mexico. There is also the Imperial River to explore, the starting point of the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail. And if you prefer your fun on foot, there are trails through the pristine Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, or a challenging round of golf at any one of many golf courses in the area.
