Located in the mountains of North Central Arizona, Prescott is nearly 100 miles northwest of Phoenix and is the county seat of Yavapai County. The town sits at an elevation of 5,347 feet. Prescott’s location makes it popular with summer visitors seeking cooler temperatures than Phoenix and Tucson can offer.
